The “Bayou Barbie” breaks her silence after fans noticed she was absent from the Tigers game at Southeastern Louisiana on Friday.
“Please don’t believe everything you read,” Angel wrote via Twitter after fans speculated, she was absent due to low GPA.
LSU head coach Kim Mulkey was asked about her absence in which she responded, “It’s very obvious Angel was not in uniform,” Mulkey said Friday. “Angel is a part of this basketball team and we hope to see her sooner than later.”
She continued, “I’m not gonna answer anymore. That’s it. That’s all you need to know.” There has been no word as to why Angel was absent as of yet.
