Anycia and 4Batz are not married—at least not yet.
The speculations began after the Dallas singer staged a wedding for his latest music video, “act xxiii: let’s press play.” What many believed to be a genuine ceremony was, in fact, a creative flourish for the rising star’s debut album.
Over the weekend, Anycia addressed the speculation. Speaking with Jourdin Pauline during a livestream, she laughed off the chatter but admitted she does envision marriage in their future.
“I am not married, y’all. It was for a video,” she explained. “Why would y’all think it would be that simple? First of all, y’all gon’ see the proposal, y’all gon’ see the bridal service, everything.”
The Atlanta rapper made it clear that she wants to celebrate on her own terms. Unlike couples who guard their milestones, she prefers a spectacle. “I need a big, crazy wedding,” she said. “Really, really crazy, on the beach, elegant gown.”
Are Anycia & 4Batz Married?
The wedding narrative gained traction earlier this month when the pair posted striking portraits that resembled nuptial photos. 4Batz captioned his tuxedo look with “the biggest day of my life,” while Anycia wore a corseted white gown. Still, the signs of staging were there. The Princess Pop That rapper completed her look with Air Force Ones, and no parents or elders appeared at the ceremony.
Their romance first became public in January. Anycia later shared on the “Way Up With Angela Yee” podcast that she was hesitant about the relationship at the start. Her hesitation came after learning 4Batz’s age. “When I found out how old he was, I was like, ‘Oh hell nah,’” she recalled. “I kept calling him ‘Lil a** boy.’”
The wedding imagery ties into the larger vision behind 4Batz’s debut album, Still Shinnin, which arrived earlier this month. “act xxiii: let’s press play” serves as one of its centerpiece moments. While Anycia doesn’t have a formal feature credit, her voice surfaces in an interlude on “act xix: yo typical lovestory.”
Still Shinnin highlights the eclectic world 4Batz is building, blending melodic rap and R&B textures. The album features Maxo Kream, FLO, Leon Thomas, and Zillionaire Doe. For fans, the staged wedding offered a playful glimpse into the pair’s chemistry while fueling anticipation for what comes next—both in music and in their personal story.
