Ari Lennox opens up about some financial trouble she’s in.

During a Instagram live session Lennox opened up about some of her recent struggles. “I’m just gonna tell y’all my business,” she began.

“I need to pay this IRS. The strange things I’m finna do for change, just so i can just break even. I’m gonna crazy and then we start anew.”

Fans jokingly asked her if she’s going to drop a IRS “diss album?” She shut that down. “Absolutely not,” Lennox expressed. “They have been gentle with me and didn’t take anything of time. So, I will not be starting a beef with them, we do not have no beef, I am paying them back. Okay? I am paying them and I’m finna be caught up.”

Lennox has been opened with her fans as she previously opened up about her sobriety. “I’m one year sober from alcohol today.. I love you all.”

She expresses, “I needed an excuse to drink and not feel the pain of everyday life and trauma,” Lennox said in the post. “My toxic relationship with alcohol left me stagnant with closed eyes, hindering my growth and my healing. Hindering my ability to overcome fear […] I’m letting go and letting God!”

Ari encourages anyone on the journey with her to keep going. “Y’all knew how many times I wanted to give in, but y’all were so sweet and motivating. We powered through!,” Lennox said. “Let’s keep it going. Cheers to another year of being present and growing deeper than ever before. One day at a mfn time, baby.”
