Azealia Banks found herself at the center of another social media firestorm after sharing explicit messages she claims were sent by MMA star Conor McGregor. On July 14th, Banks posted screenshots she alleged came from McGregor’s DMs, including graphic images and bold captions. One of the alleged photos appeared to show McGregor nude with a caption reading, “Don’t be a rat cos all rats get caught.” Another reportedly showed him with a weight attached to his genitals, captioned, “Lifting weights.”
Banks didn’t hold back in her response, publicly mocking the images. “How you gonna send a b***h some crooked d pics then threaten her not to tell,” she tweeted, adding, “N***a do you know who the f I am? This is HARAM… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland?”
She also pointed out that the content quickly disappeared. Sharing another screenshot, Banks claimed the images were no longer accessible, joking, “The motherf***er woke up early LOL.” She continued the thread with sarcasm, even tweeting “Conor McGregor 4 President,” and later implied that their exchanges have a long history. “No me and Conor McGregor have been sending each other unsolicited nudes since 2016,” she wrote.
In her final remarks, Banks called out men in general, writing, “Men are so homo and obsessed with d*** it’s not even funny.” The tweet containing the alleged images was eventually removed by X for violating its content policies. Banks shared on Instagram that she was hit with a 12-hour suspension. “Got me,” she wrote. “It’s been fun.”
McGregor, who has been in a longtime relationship with Dee Devlin, has yet to comment on the situation. Whether real or not, the claims have sparked intense speculation and backlash across social media.
