Amid swirling reports of divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck appears to be moving forward as he hits the real estate market – house hunting.
Sources spill to Page Six, that while J. Lo. recently scoped out homes in sunny Los Angeles, buzz is swirling in real estate circles that Affleck is also on the prowl for a new pad in the City of Angels.
We previously reported that the Argo actor has allegedly “moved out” from the shared home he and Jennifer Lopez once occupied.
“They’re headed for a divorce—and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!” an insider said.
According to the source, Affleck “decided to call it quits” on his marriage to the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” performer to focus “on his work and his kids now.”
“Ben already moved out, and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for,” a source told In Touch Weekly.
“They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” added the insider.
As of now, neither Ben nor Jennifer has commented on these claims.
This news sent shockwaves across Hollywood, as J. Lo previously expressed, “I feel even more relaxed and comfortable, which makes me feel even more beautiful than I have ever felt with someone else,” when discussing her husband.
The two exchanged vows in a private ceremony in 2022. When asked if she believes the marriage will endure, “Jenny from the Block” expressed, “I think you always go in with the best of intentions every single time that you ever leap into anything,” the performer stated with a chuckle. “I do anyway, not just in my personal life but in my professional life, too.”
“I think, you know, he sees me as an artist, and he knows that I’m going to express myself, and he’s always just, he’s my biggest fan and my biggest supporter as I am of his, which I’m so glad to be here tonight,” she added.
