The #MeToo movement opened the curtains on the real Hollywood. Harvey Weinstein will be tried for sexual assault & rape charges, Matt Lauer was fired for sexual harrassment while CBS chief Les Moonves was let go for the same reason & without his $120 million severence.
Mo’Nique caused headlines when she posted an Instagram video upset over Netflix lowballing her comedy special. The comedienne/actress felt she deserved more than what was being offered in comparison to Dave Chappelle, and Amy Schumer’s paycheck for their specials. Some sympathized with her while others felt what she was offered was just about right.
Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity Wars” broke opening weekend records with $630 million worldwide. The history-making numbers supersede the previous record holder, Stars Wars: The Force Awakens which opened to $247.9 million in the U.S in 2015. The film itself is the third highest grossing film of all time earning over $2 billion in the box office.

Season 5 finale of Power drew in the highest ratings for the STARZ network in a long time, making it a marquee choice for fans who wanted to see episodes over again.The show placed third for Top 20 Shows On Demand, behind NBC’s This Is Us ( 2nd ) & HBO’s Game of Thrones which topped the list.

Kevin Hart Turned Down The Oscars
