Beyoncé, as always, continues to reach new milestones in her career. According to The Mercury News, on Wednesday, August 30, Bey was inaugurated as Santa Clara’s temporary mayor for the day. Michelle Templeton spoke on Santa Clara’s behalf “The city of Santa Clara is excited about Beyoncé’s upcoming visit to the world-renowned Levi’s Stadium,” “Her concerts will certainly bring a great deal of energy and excitement.”
The statement honors Bey’s “tremendous cultural impact as one of the most influential pop culture figures.” Additionally, it stated “profound dedication to numerous charitable causes,” such as her non-profit organization, BeyGOOD, Chime for Change, and the Surivor Foundation. Bey also posted on Instagram, giving her fans birthday wishes as “Virgo season” approaches.
She announced, “Virgo Season is upon us.” “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach this last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the 8.23 – 9.22!” Looking through the lens of astrology, Virgo season kicks off on August 23 and wraps up on September 22. As Beyoncé gears up to hit 42, she’s not just stopping at Inglewood. Her tour will take her through various cities, including Vancouver, Seattle, Houston, and much more. The grand finale of her 56-show tour is scheduled for October 1 in Kansas City.
