Blac Youngsta is crossing off a legal headache that’s been hanging over him for years—his gun case in Dallas.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper, who faced charges for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon from a 2020 arrest, got a major break this week as the judge tossed out his case.

Blac Youngsta’s lawyer, Carl A. Moore, says his client is relieved to close this chapter after nearly four years. Moore praised the District Attorney’s Office for dropping the charge, stating that justice has prevailed.

Youngsta, who rejected a pre-trial diversion program, was arrested in October 2020 during a routine traffic stop. Cops discovered a handgun between his legs while he was a passenger in the car.

In related news, in 2019, the “Where I’m From” rapper was arrested for possessing two fully loaded semi-automatic pistols.

Youngsta and three friends were driving in a GMC Yukon with him in the backseat when they were pulled over for running a red light. During the stop, officers smelled marijuana, searched the vehicle, and found three pistols and weed.

The criminal complaint charged Youngsta with felony possession of a prohibited weapon, specifically armor-piercing ammunition. It is unclear whether the ammo was loaded in a handgun or was separate.

Another passenger, Marcus Dion Cartwright, was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon. The two other occupants of the vehicle were not charged. Blac Youngsta was released the same day on a $5,000 bond.
