Boosie BadAzz said he is getting bullied after revealing that he walked out of a movie theater with his daughter during a screening of The Color Purple because of the lesbian storyline.

“WHY IF SOMEONE DOESNT AGREE WITH THE [rainbow emoji] NARRATIVE THATS BEING PUSHED, WHY DO Y’ALL SAY THAT THE PERSON WHO DOESNT AGREE IS [rainbow emoji]? THATS BULLYING!” the “Wipe Me Down rapper tweeted last night (Jan. 2). “WE HAVE A RIGHT AS PARENTS TO SAY IT’S NOT COOL FOR A [SEVEN AND NINE-YEAR-OLD] TO WATCH THIS. WE HAVE RIGHTS AS PARENTS TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AS MUCH AS WE CAN.”

Boosie continued, “I HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH [rainbow emoji] PEOPLE. MY GRANDAD WAS A PREACHER (SOUTHERN BAPTIST) [AND] I’M JUST TRYNA RAISE MY KIDS WITH THE SAME BELIEFS [AND] RESPECT WE [WERE] RAISED WITH. IT’S JUST THIS WORLD WILL HAVE [YOU] [IN] A FIGHT TO DO SO!”
