Donald Trump, has now become the first and only U.S. President to be impeached twice. Of the 228 votes cast in favor of Trump’s impeachment, 10 of those votes were from fellow Republicans.
President Donald Trump was set to hand over control of the White House to President-elect Joe Biden in just one week.
According to reports, House lawmakers voted on an article of impeachment charging Trump with “incitement of insurrection” for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Mr. Trump will now face a trial in the Senate, where if convicted he could face being barred from ever holding office again.

10 Republicans joined Democrats in voting in favor of his impeachment.
