“This is a Patek Philippe. My boo boo got it for me at London Jewelers. I went to link up with him at London Jewelers,” Cardi shared. “At first I thought he was buying himself a watch and then he was like, ‘Surprise — a watch for you!’”
The gift? A gold Patek Philippe Nautilus watch worth $73,000, featuring a sapphire case back and 56 diamonds. Cardi used it as the base for a new bracelet stack, adding pieces from Cartier, Tiffany, and Van Cleef to complete the look.
Fans flooded her comment section with jokes about the extravagant price tags. One person wrote, “She just called us broke in every language.” Another chimed in with, “Not right now Cardi. I’m tryna get affordable health insurance.”
As for Cardi and Stefon Diggs, rumors of a split were put to rest earlier this month when their playful posts on Instagram made it clear there was no trouble. While they are currently apart with Diggs busy at Patriots training camp, their bond seems stronger than ever.
