It seems like ever since Beyoncè mentioned OnlyFans in the “Savage” remix with Megan Thee Stallion, more celebrities are joining the platform. In less than 24-hours, the site saw a 15 percent increase in traffic.
The Dream started an account to promote his new album Sex Tape 4, Swae Lee used the site to promote the music video for “Reality Check,” and now Cardi B. is joining in. Cardi will use the platform to connect with Bardi Gang and give them an exclusive look at her life. She said she won’t be showing any sexy pictures, which is what the site was originally intended for. However, artists are seeing a lucrative opportunity to market their content and make money.
Cardi originally set the monthly fee at $9.99 but decided to lower it to $4.99. Her first content on the site was behind the scenes for her first Elle magazine cover shoot. Insider reports Cardi said,
“I literally listened to the entire Teyana Taylor album shooting this cover. I know this clip is quick, but it’s just a small dose of the content I got coming for ya. WAP music video BTS coming soon!” she captioned the 18-second clip.
Cardi will also share BTS of scenes from her collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on “WAP.” Cardi’s OnlyFans Page reads:
“WELCOME TO MY WORLD,” is accessible for $4.99. “I wanna know what my fans would like to see there,” she says in the video. And to be clear, “no I’m not going to be showing my titties, or my pussy, or my ass,” she adds. “Just straight up real-life content shit. You guys be mad nosey when it comes to my life.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper is the site’s biggest celebrity to join.
