Fresh tensions have surfaced in Cardi B and Offset’s ongoing breakup saga, with Cardi now accusing her estranged husband of harassment through explicit messages.
Since Cardi filed for divorce last year, their interactions have been publicly turbulent, but the latest developments could mark a new peak in their conflict. During a session on X Spaces, Cardi claimed Offset has been sending inappropriate messages to both her and her rumored new partner, NFL star Stefon Diggs. She alleged that some of these messages contained threats against both her life and Offset’s. “He’s mad because I showed his girlfriend messages where he was begging me, saying he would take his life—and mine too,” Cardi said. “That’s why he’s acting like this.”
Cardi B Calls Out Offset for Emotional Manipulation and Alleged Retaliation Scheme
She went on to detail what she calls ongoing emotional manipulation. “For two months, I’ve been dealing with this,” she stated. “Every time I leave town, he floods my phone with messages meant to break me down. I’m done with it. I’m tired of him and his girlfriend playing games with my phone.” Cardi also described a confrontation with Offset’s new partner regarding their living situation. “I called her before and told her not to step foot in my home. She responded, ‘Why do you care? You haven’t been there for three years.’ But that’s my house. I bought it. It’s crazy.”
In a more serious accusation, Cardi alleged that Offset orchestrated an attack on one of her friends as part of a larger scheme against her. She then issued an ultimatum: either he apologizes, or she will expose more details about their past. As of now, Offset has not publicly addressed these claims. However, in his latest track “Ten,” he appeared to reference their messy separation, rapping, “She’s fine, but she’s tough on me too / You’ll need ten other dudes to get over me.” He also bragged about his lifestyle, adding, “I was with two bad ones last night, they want to run it back / I’m on a new wave, so chill.”
