It looks like Chris Rock wouldn’t be taking legal issue against Will Smith.

The two set the internet on FIRE after their incident at the 2022 Oscars award. While Chris Rock was on stage gearing up to present the Oscar for Best Documentary, the comedian decided to make a few jokes about some of the people in the audience- including Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Rock said to the actress, “Jada, G.I. Jane 2 can’t wait to see it,” presumably referring to the actress’ newly shaved head. Which rubbed the Smith’s the wrong way. Resulting in Will smacking Rock in the face.

According to the LAPD, Chris Rock has made a decision not to press charges against Will. “LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program. The incident involved one individual slapping another. The individual declined to file a police report..”
