Authorities are continuing to investigate the death of 17-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was found deceased in singer D4vd’s vehicle last month, as unverified online allegations spark renewed scrutiny of the artist’s conduct.
In recent days, screenshots allegedly showing D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, engaging in inappropriate conversations with another minor in 2023 have circulated widely on social media. The authenticity of the messages remains unconfirmed, but the claims have intensified public attention on the 19-year-old musician as investigators pursue leads in Hernandez’s death.
Law enforcement has not named Burke as a suspect. Officials have provided few updates since confirming that the case remains open.
Still, speculation has persisted across platforms. Users continue to share purported evidence and commentary about the singer’s online interactions with fans.
A Twitter user identifying himself as @ENGLEEZY, who described being a former associate of Burke, shared screenshots that he claims were sent by an alleged underage girl who said she “dated” the singer in 2023. The screenshots, which later appeared on Reddit, include messages attributed to Burke.
It reads, “I would love to have a public relationship with someone, but the way this is going, we have to be a secret,” and referencing that the recipient had “a couple years of high school left.”
