Dana Tran returned to Los Angeles this week and was seen spending time with her daughter, Love Combs, days after attending part of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial in New York.

The mother of Diddy’s youngest child was spotted Thursday morning near the coast, engaging in a light outdoor workout while her toddler mirrored her movements. Wearing sleek black athletic wear, Tran led a series of stretches, with Love playfully attempting to mimic her by lifting her leg onto a nearby stone ledge. The candid scene offered a rare look into Tran’s life as a mother navigating the public eye while linked to one of the music industry’s most embattled figures.

Tran’s trip to New York was reportedly cut short after learning Love had fallen ill. She returned to Los Angeles immediately following the July 3 verdict in Diddy’s case, where he was found guilty on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. Tran had traveled east to show support for Diddy during the final days of his high-profile trial, but her daughter’s health took precedence.

Later that day, Tran was seen pushing Love in a stroller through their neighborhood. At one point, she paused under the shade to practice yoga, balancing physical activity with mindfulness.

Love appeared fully recovered from her recent cold, showing no signs of discomfort as she interacted with her surroundings and ignored nearby cameras. Her composed demeanor reflected the reality of growing up in the spotlight, as the daughter of one of hip-hop’s most scrutinized figures.

The family outing came on the heels of a turbulent week in federal court. Though Diddy was convicted of two prostitution-related charges, the jury acquitted him on the more serious counts of racketeering and sex trafficking.

The mixed verdict triggered widespread debate. While the conviction carries criminal penalties, it spares the hip-hop mogul from a potentially harsher sentence tied to the dismissed charges.

Legal analyst and defense attorney Mark Geragos, whose daughter Teny served on Diddy’s defense team, weighed in on the case during an episode of his podcast 2 Angry Men. Geragos suggested the sentence could be lenient, predicting the court may opt for what he described as “a slap on the wrist.”

For now, as Diddy awaits sentencing, Dana Tran appears focused on routine and recovery. Her daughter’s cheerful energy and visible progress after illness hint at a return to normalcy, even as legal challenges continue to surround the family.
