DJ Khaled Celebrates Fat Joe’s 55th Birthday With Heartfelt Post

DJ Khaled took time out to honor one of his closest friends, Fat Joe, as the Bronx legend celebrated his 55th birthday on August 19th. The two have been inseparable for decades, building a bond that started long before their collaborations in the mid-2000s and growing into a brotherhood that still thrives today.

Khaled shared a carousel of nine photos on Instagram that showcased moments from their journey together, with some shots reaching back to the 90s. Alongside the images, he delivered a message filled with admiration. “Happy birthday to my brother Joey crack @fatjoe. Joe is more than a brother to me. Look how far we come and we just getting started. You are [an] amazing father one thing about Joey crack if he loves u he’s all in.” He added, “Brother I appreciate u when I talk God I always say thank u for giving me a amazing brother like Joe. On another note follow the #1 show in hip hop right now @joeandjada Joey crack it’s TS WE THE BEST. JOE DID!! WE ARE SO BLESSD! ANOTHER ONE!”

Fat Joe quickly responded to the love, writing, “Love you brother your my diamond [three heart emojis],” under Khaled’s post, and leaving another note on The Shade Room’s repost, saying, “My brother [heart emoji].”

Their careers have been intertwined for years, with joint hits like “We Takin Over,” “Sunshine,” “Don’t Ever Play Yourself,” and “Billy Ocean.” Both men rose to the top of mainstream hip hop during the 2000s, proving their chemistry was as genuine as their friendship.
