Doechii is gearing up for her debut performance at the 2025 Grammys, marking a major milestone in her career. The ceremony, happening on February 2nd in Los Angeles, will focus on wildfire relief efforts and honor first responders. Joining the star-studded lineup are Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, Shakira, RAYE, Chappell Roan, Teddy Swims, and Benson Boone.

This year, Doechii is up for several Grammy awards, including Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, Best Rap Performance for “Nissan Altima,” and Best New Artist. When asked by TMZ about her mindset before the show, she expressed excitement and gratitude. “I’m not nervous at all,” she said. “I feel like it’s deserved; I’ve been working hard. I’m honored… I’m the only female in the hip-hop category, so I’m representing female rap.”

Doechii hinted at delivering a speech straight from the heart if she wins, saying, “I don’t [have a speech prepared]. I’m just gon’ speak from the heart… we’ll see what happens.” She also reflected on how the Grammys might address the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles. “I think that the Grammys are going to do their part in acknowledging what has happened… I’ve been very heart-warmed by the way that everybody’s coming together during this time to support each other.”

Beyond the Grammys, Doechii gave fans something to look forward to in 2025. “You can expect an album, more performances, some festivals. It’s going to be good, it’s going to be a good year,” she revealed.

With Beyoncé leading the nominations and a lineup of powerhouse performers, the 2025 Grammys promise to be an unforgettable night. For Doechii, it’s just the beginning of a breakout year.
