Dr. Dre has some advice for his estranged wife Nicole Young, learn to spend less.
The music mogul and Nicole are in the middle of a nasty divorce. Over the summer, Nicole filed for irreconcilable differences and it started smoothly until there was confusion on if Nicole ever signed a prenup. She claims she was “pressured” to sign one while Dre says that’s false. Nicole requested access to Dre’s finances and $2 million a monthin spousal support. She’s also requesting ownership of Dr. Dre’s name plus the trademark for The Chronic.
In the latest report, Dr. Dre wants Nicole to understand that he’s no longer a “money tree.” TMZ reports during their divorce, Dre has been paying for her expenses, their Malibu home, legal fees, and other things, which total up to $293,306 a month.
Dre is “hanging the hat” on a prenup, the article reports, and he says all of their property is separate. Dre agreed to pay spousal support but not the $2 million a month Nicole is requesting. The report says she will get around $81,002 to $138,622 a month once the case is resolved. Dre’s legal team says he won’t cover Nicole’s expenses once the divorce is finalized.
Dre also filed a police report, claiming his estranged wife embezzled $385,029 from one of Dre’s companies. Nicole’s legal team previously said she was entitled to the money and during her deposition, she pled the 5th.
