Drake Invites Travis Scott To Vancouver Stage For Debut Performance of ‘Meltdown’

According to reports, Dreezy gave his fans a treat during his Vancouver performance on his It’s All a Blur Tour. On Tuesday, August 29, Drake brought out Travis Scott as a special guest to perform their new banger “Meltdown” together. Notably, this was their debut performance of the collaboration off Travis’ latest album, UTOPIA. Prior to starting the track, Drake announced, “Oh yeah, for the first time ever in Vancouver, Astro and The Boy, we in this b***h.” Furthermore, the two performed their 2018 hit “Sicko Mode,” and Travis showcased “FE!N” with Playboi Carti. 

On Monday, August 28, Drake stated that he’d be delaying the Vancouver dates for his tour. There were rumors that Travis would take the place of 21 Savage for the Vancouver dates at the time of these announcements. While the exact cause wasn’t verified, there were speculations pointing to 21’s persistent immigration troubles subsequent to his apprehension by agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in 2019.

Reportedly, some dedicated fans even claimed to have spotted Travis Scott’s personal jet touching down in Vancouver just before his electrifying performance. The exhilarating journey of the It’s All a Blur Tour is slated to roll on until October 9. Switching gears to the musical realm, Drake recently unveiled the captivating cover art for his highly anticipated album titled “For All the Dogs.” As of now, the album’s release date remains a mystery, leaving fans eagerly awaiting further news.
