Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s highly anticipated joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, is set to arrive this Valentine’s Day. As the release date nears, Drake has sparked speculation about another potential project with his longtime collaborator.

Posting on his @plottttwistttttt Instagram account, Drake shared an image of what appears to be the first page of a screenplay titled $$$ 4 U—an acronym matching the album’s title. The page credits both Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR as screenwriters, with a surprising note beneath: “Based on the Novel by Dennis Graham.” The date on the document reads December 24, 2024, suggesting a future project tied to their upcoming music.

Neither artist has commented on the post, leaving fans to speculate whether this is a legitimate film in development or an elaborate tease. Given Drake’s history of cinematic storytelling in his music videos and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s penchant for atmospheric songwriting, the possibility of a visual counterpart to the album feels within reach.

Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s friendship is one of the most influential creative partnerships in modern R&B and hip-hop. Their bond goes beyond music, built on years of collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared vision for pushing sonic boundaries.

Their chemistry became evident early on. PND wrote and contributed vocals to several of Drake’s biggest hits, including Own It and Come Thru from Nothing Was the Same (2013). His pen game was crucial in crafting Legend, Preach, and Wednesday Night Interlude on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015). However, their most iconic collaboration came with Work, the 2016 Rihanna smash that PND co-wrote, giving Drake one of his most commercially successful records.

As details unfold, fans can look forward to the album’s official release this Friday, February 14.
