Drake Seemingly Unfollows Metro Boomin After His Comments About ‘Her Loss’

Drake seemingly unfollows Metro Boomin’ after the producer spoke out about Drake and 21 Savage’s album, Her Loss.

The friction seemingly started after Twitter users pointed out that Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains had more streams in a single year (3.7 billion) than any other rap album since 2018. In a since-deleted tweet, Metro responded, “yet Her Loss keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V. Proof that award shows are just politics and not for me.”

“Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to people’s everyday lives.”

Drake seemingly responded to Metro’s comments by sharing lyrics from Jay-Z’s “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)” via his Instagram story. The lyrics read, “Damn, little mans, I’m just tryin’ to do me/ If the record’s two mil, I’m just tryin’ to move three.”

Following the sub-post, Drake seemingly unfollowed Boomin from Instagram. Take a look below.
