After Ross revealed the origins behind unfollowing Drake, the desisted reference track leaked on social media on Sunday (April 14).

According to Champagne Moments, Drake’s removal of a verse from French Montana’s track “Splash Brothers” led to a feud between Rick Ross and Drake. Lil Wayne replaced Drake on the official track on Montana’s latest album, Mac & Cheese 5

French Montana has not sided with any artists involved in the beef against Drake. Drake and French Montana have collaborated on several songs, including the #1 hit “Stay Schemin’” in 2012, featuring Rick Ross. Montana has emphasized the importance of friendship in recent interviews.

Montana’s Mac & Cheese 5 features a star-studded lineup, including Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Saint JHN, Lil Baby, Westside Gunn, Bryson Tiller, Lil Durk, JID, and many others. The album encountered challenges verifying its sales, a shooting, and a legal notice from Drake.

Drizzy and Rozay have exchanged nose-referred remarks across social media since Ross dropped “Champagne Moments.” Drake’s mother got involved with the jokes, and the rapper posted a conversation that clarified the nose surgery allegations.
