For its fourth annual year, Dreamville Festival 2024 returned in full force this past weekend with another unforgettable celebration. Taking place at Dorothea Dix Park, the two day music fest drew in a massive crowd and made a whopping $145 million impact to North Carolina’s economy.
Saturday’s (April 6) eclectic roster saw electrifying performances from J.I.D, SchoolBoy Q, Lil Yachty, Jeremih, Sexyy Red, Earthgang, Teezo Touchdown, Amaarae, Lute and Luh Tyler before 50 Cent and SZA came out as headliners.
Festival founder and Fayetteville native, J Cole brought a captivating and buzzworthy closing set on Sunday’s stage. As a surprise, Cole had other acts join him including Jeremih, Lil Yatchy, Central Cee, Benny The Butcher, Lil Durk and more. Shortly before Cole, Nicki Minaj energized the crowd with a captivating performance running through her classic hits. Day 2 performers also included Rema, Jeezy, Monica, Rae Sremmurd, Key Glock, Bas, Hunxho, Cozz, Omen, Tiacorine and Chase Shakur.
But the fun didn’t stop at the stage. Throughout the Dorothea Dix Park, art permeated the festival grounds with murals and sculptures. With all the incredible art pieces and installations at this year’s fest, there was no shortage of ’Gram-worthy photo opps.
