Jason Peters, a Southern California–raised singer-songwriter and producer, is preparing to release his debut EP and first mainstream single in 2026 as he builds momentum under new label backing.

Southern California native Jason Peters is carving out his place in the music industry with a performance-driven blend of contemporary R&B, pop and soul. Born at Camp Pendleton and raised by two U.S. Marines, Peters credits his upbringing with instilling the discipline and resilience that now fuel his creative ambitions.

Before stepping into the recording booth, Peters trained extensively as a dancer and choreographer, sharpening his stage presence and movement style. In 2020, during the global shutdown, he shifted his focus fully to music — a turning point that allowed him to channel his deep understanding of rhythm into songwriting and production. Since then, he has operated as an independent artist, writing, producing and recording his own material.

Peters first gained professional experience as part of a boy band developed by mentor T.Low. The mentorship continued as he evolved as a solo act, guided by T.Low, a member of the multi-platinum R&B group Next.

He is now signed to Momentum Entertainment, founded by T.Low in partnership with Jovan J. Dawkins. Peters’ sound reflects classic influences such as Michael Jackson, Prince and James Brown, while incorporating modern pop elements inspired by artists like Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber. Dance remains central to his identity, with each track crafted to resonate both emotionally and physically.

Currently in the studio, Peters is working on his debut EP and plans to release his first mainstream single in 2026. He says his goal is to create music rooted in authenticity and lasting impact.
