The series which premiered on Thanksgiving is his first venture into TV, shockingly enough. Lee had his hand in the whole process of the show, from creating it, producing and directing all 10 episodes.
The show follows Nola Darling, a Brooklynite woman in her late 20s living trying to figure out this thing call life.
The iconic director made the announcement via social media and the show’s star Dewanda Wise shared her excitement too.
