Footage of comedian Corey Holcomb has surfaced of him punching a fellow comedian, a woman named Cristina Payne, in the face.
Back in November 2024, TMZ broke the story, but at the time, no footage was made available. However, on Friday (Jan.23), the footage was obtained and shared by an Instagram account named The Bizi. The pair had been embroiled in what appears to be a heated argument in front of Hollywood Improv, surrounded by a group of people. Per the outlet, the pair had been feuding for quite some time before this incident.
Following the physical altercation, Holcomb was then attacked by a group of men who’d been present. While a police report filed by Payne with the LAPD, Holcomb was never arrested. Not long after, he moved to file a temporary restraining order against her, but it was ultimately dismissed.
Corey Holcomb Allegedly Wanted To ‘Super Sock’ Christina Payne
TMZ caught up with Payne last February to tell her side of the story.
According to her, Holcomb was, in fact, not telling the truth, and the narrative was being switched. “The story is being totally flipped, totally about the truth and what happened,” she told the outlet. In Payne’s opinion, Holcomb is only flipping the story to avoid jail time. The beef apparently started over a decade ago, after she declined to sleep with Holcomb.
During a run-in last June, Holcomb allegedly threatened her, saying he would “super sock this b*tch [Payne].” She also noted that while she has witnesses who can back up her claims, Holcomb has people who are willing to lie for him. Holcomb has yet to issue a response regarding the obtained footage.
