Foxy Brown revealed some exciting news.
The living legend shared in her Instagram Story that she’s releasing a book. In the caption, she said, “Book coming soon.” She also said it’d arrive in December.
Foxy is working with former editor-in-chief of The Source, Kim Osorio, to help bring her story to life. Osorio also promoted the upcoming book and said, “20 YEARS later and still the most controversial book to come out in hip hop. Still written by ME. I only write the best stories.” Take a look at a screen-grab, captured by The Neighborhood Talk blog:
Details surrounding the book haven’t been released yet, like the title or official drop date. Foxy has been laying low, enjoying mom life. Take a look back at her Mother’s Day post.
Foxy’s contributions to hip hop in the early ’90s shaped the culture. She signed with Def Jam in 1996 and released her debut album, Ill Na Na, that same year. It featured classics like “Get Me Home,” “I’ll Be” ft. Jay-Z, and more. It debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It’s currently certified platinum. Foxy was also First Lady of The Firm.
