G Herbo eviscerates controversial interviewer DJ Vlad after the two spoke on VladTV.

On October 21, the Chicago rapper fired off a fiery Instagram message directed at media personality, accusing him of exploiting hip-hop artists for viral moments and views. The outburst quickly spread online, reigniting long-standing debates about ethics in music journalism.

“Vlad you didn’t do shit 4 me! Like nothing @ all!” Herbo wrote. “Think the interviews that we did in the past is what blew me up? YOU GOTTA BE SHITTING ME!!! You called me every time not the other way around!!”

The rapper went on to say he didn’t even know who Vlad was during their first interview, claiming he simply went where his team directed early in his career.

Herbo’s message accused Vlad of prioritizing views over integrity.

“You care about views, that’s why you do and ask the shit you ask! I’m not fucking wit it!” he added. “You don’t give a fuck about me or nobody you interview. You a get a na killed and sent to jail and be on to the next victim you take advantage of for clicks and views! Fuck U, Buddy!”

The “PTSD” rapper also made it clear he won’t appear on VladTV again, framing his decision as a moral stance. “I do what I wanna do,” he said. “That’s the exact reason why I’m not pulling up on yo goofy ass.”

Herbo’s comments touched a nerve within the hip-hop community, where VladTV has long been both influential and controversial. While the platform is known for candid conversations with major artists, it’s also faced backlash for stirring tension and revisiting sensitive legal topics.

The post highlights an evolving dynamic between rappers and media figures, as more artists push back against interview tactics they see as exploitative. For Herbo, the message was about protecting his legacy and urging peers to value their narratives over clicks.

Whether or not Vlad responds, Herbo’s words have already intensified scrutiny on media platforms built around artist controversy — and the real-world consequences that can follow.
