GloRilla and Brandon Ingram have confirmed that they are more than just friends. The Memphis rapper and the Toronto Raptors forward are now officially dating, bringing plenty of excitement from fans who have been speculating for weeks.
The talk first started back in July when the two were spotted celebrating GloRilla’s 26th birthday in Mexico. Photos from the night showed them dancing together and looking close, which immediately fueled dating rumors. According to partygoers, the pair secured a section at the popular nightclub Balam and eventually left together around three in the morning.
For weeks, the chatter grew but nothing was directly said by either star. That changed once Ingram decided to make their connection public while celebrating his own 28th birthday. He shared a collection of photos online, filled with solo shots and one standout picture featuring himself and GloRilla in what looked like a private ride. His caption read, “A lot of shit done changed [purple heart emoji] 28 [sun emoji].” GloRilla herself dropped three heart eye emojis in the comments, giving fans the confirmation they were waiting for.
Supporters of both stars immediately filled social media with reactions. One fan commented, “[two heart eye emojis] They are cute together.” Another wrote, “He fine too okayyyy [three fire emojis].” Others cheered on the rapper, adding, “Get em Glo! [two fire emojis].”
The couple’s reveal comes as both continue to enjoy major success in their respective fields. Although Megan Thee Stallion, Glo’s collaborator on “Wanna Be,” has not yet weighed in, many are already embracing the new couple and wishing them the best as their relationship grows.
