Angela Simmons Addresses Her Uncle’s Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Angela Simmons is making it clear that she doesn’t believe what the media says about her uncle.

In 2017, Def Jam CEO was accused of sexual assault by three women. Russel Simmons has denied any wrongdoing. He admitted to being a “playboy,” but claims all sexual interaction was consensual. 

His niece, Angela made a post online addressing the situation. She says she doesn’t believe her uncle is capable of doing what the media is saying.

Angela Simmons doesn’t want any parts surrounding the controversy with her uncle Russell Simmons. A few weeks ago news broke that Oprah is working on a documentary that focuses on Russell’s alleged inappropriate relationships while at Def Jam. ___________________________________________ “I’m not ever gonna get in between what’s going on with people. I’m going to stand by my family,” Simmons said exclusively to Bossip. “I’m not going to get in between all of that, it’s not my place. No one wants to see their family getting hurt. He has daughters.” ___________________________________________ She added: “My uncle knows what he’s done…but I don’t necessarily want to shine a light on that.”
