Earlier this year, HBO aired a two-part documentary named Leaving Neverland in which two of Michael Jackson's former friends gave their alleged account of sexual abuse and experiences alongside the King of Pop.

Following its release, the family and estate of Jackson strongly denied the allegations, and highlighted what they felt was several inconsistances in the stories of Wade Robson and James Safechuck.

During a conversation with The Sunday Times, Michael's younger sister Janet Jackson opened up on the documentary and the allegations against her brother where she addressed what his legacy will be going forward.

"It will continue," she said. "I love it when I see kids emulating him, when adults still listen to his music. It just lets you know the impact that my family has had on the world. I hope I'm not sounding arrogant in any way -- I'm just stating what it is. It's really all God's doing, and I'm just thankful for that."

Michael Jackson's estate is currently suing HBO after airing the documentary claiming that they violated a contract which agree not to air negative content against the King of Pop.
