The wait is over!
Lil’ Wayne made a special announcement on Tuesday (Sept 25), to all of his fans who have been waiting years for his brand new project.
He apologized for any mix-up about the release date of Tha Carter V, but officially revealed that it will finally be here on his birthday on Thursday (Sept 27).
“Well, I would like for you to know that since y’all stuck with me and hung in there anyway for like the past four or five years through all of this but uh on my birthday, I actually have something special. I will be releasing Tha Carter V on my birthday.”
This will be his first album off of Cash Money Records, instead releasing on Young Money/Republic/Universal.
