While many people want R. Kelly to go to jail, his legal team is confident they will win the case.
The singer is facing a total of 18 charges for kidnapping, forced labor, sending child pornography across state lines, racketeering, obstruction of justice, sexual misconduct, and more.
Reported on TJB, the head of Kelly’s legal team, Steve Greenberg said they are doing everything they can to get their client acquitted. Kelly is trying his hardest to get top-notch lawyers on his side, he’s reportedly trying to get Michael Jackson’s child molestation lawyer, Tom Mesereau, in his corner.
The article claims Kelly and his camp can’t afford Mesereau but his camp is asking the singer’s celebrity friends to pitch in. The “friends” so far have not been named.
