Irv Gotti is pushing back against the sexual assault allegations made against him in a new lawsuit.

On Sunday (July 11), the owner and co-founder of Murder Inc Records, was accused of rape in a new lawsuit filed by a Miami woman identified as Jane Doe.

Miami New Times journalist Alex DeLuca broke the story on Tuesday morning (July 16). According to court documents, the 56-year-old executive, whose real name is Irving Domingo Lorenzo, is alleged to have sexually assaulted and abused Jane Doe in Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta between 2020 and 2022.

Gotti’s team has now issued a statement rejecting all claims made against him and suggesting that the lawsuit is a blatant attempt to extort him for financial gain.

According to the rep, the suit “was filed after Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him. The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies,” TMZ reports.

The lawsuit, as reported by DeLuca, alleges that the plantiff met Gotti at a poker tournament during the summer of 2020, leading to a trip to Saint Martin where the 54-year-old allegedly threatened to send her home if she refused sex. The lawsuit also claims that their relationship continued, with Gotti allegedly forcing her to perform oral sex in a Miami hotel elevator in January 2022 and then again in an Uber in Atlanta later that year.

Per the suit, Jane Doe alleges, “As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward.”

The woman is reportedly seeking a jury trial, claiming severe emotional and psychological harm. She is represented by Adriana Alcalde of EISENBERG & BAUM, LLP.
