To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Forest Hills Drive, J. Cole has announced a one-night-only event held at Madison Square Garden.
Presented by Chase and produced by Live Nation, the concert will take place on Monday, December 16.
To celebrate the 10-year milestone, Cole will release anniversary edition vinyls and CDs of Forest Hill Drive that are available for pre-order now. The pack includes the anniversary edition of the vinyl and CD which features four new bonus tracks. Also, there as well as an alternate cover vinyl and CD. Fans can pre-order via www.inevitable.live/shop.
Lately, Cole has been busy with several projects. On Wednesday (Nov. 27), the rapper released Friday Night Lights, his classic mixtape on all streaming platforms. The re-release is in concert with the fifth episode of his audio podcast series Inevitable, which explores the making of the mixtape.
“This is a very special moment for me. Been waiting patiently for this day, like a lot of yall have. I wanna say Thank you to everybody out there that kept these projects alive,” Cole wrote. “Even during all the years, they were not on streaming services, especially this project right here. “Friday Nights Lights” is finally available now on all platforms.”
“To have a full idea of what this means for me personally, you would have to know the whooole journey. This Inevitable series we doing is that,” he added.
Cole also announced that the Dreamville Festival will return to Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, 2025, for its fifth anniversary.
Last year, the festival enjoyed its biggest year yet, attracting more than 104,000+ attendees from across the globe to watch some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B.
Originally launched in 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Dreamville Festival is the brand’s signature annual event for its fans worldwide.
