Prayers up!
Jamie Foxx speaks out after he was rushed to the hospital due to a medical emergency. In an Instagram post the actor says he “appreciates all the love” and is “feeling blessed.”
We previously reported that though the actor is still in the hospital- he is in “okay” condition. His friend and peer, Nick Cannon, says the legendary actor is “awake” and “alert.”
His family has yet to speak out on his condition. When the medical emergency first occurred, his daughter, Corrine, shared a statement via Instagram asking for prayers following the scare. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement read. “The family asks for privacy during this time.”
