Reports indicate that JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation has received a lawsuit by Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the alleged rape victim, over suspected bribe money.
In recent events, Buzbee sued Roc Nation and JAY’s attorneys, claiming they have been bribing complainants to bring legal battles against him. The statement suggests that Hov’s label “conspired to obstruct justice by engaging shadowy operatives to illegally seek out more than two dozen current and former clients of The Buzbee Law Firm to convince those clients to bring frivolous cases against The Buzbee Law Firm.” Buzbee further states that individuals who “pretend to work for the State of Texas” intimated his clients with “fake badges.”
Additionally, Buzbee claims that his clients recorded JAY’s attorneys bribing them with $10,000 to reverse the lawsuits to him, occurring sometime in November 2024. Roc Nation responded to the allegations, stating, “Tony Buzbee’s baloney lawsuit against Roc Nation is nothing but another sham. It’s a pathetic attempt to distract and deflect attention. This sideshow won’t change the ultimate outcome and true justice will be served soon.”
buzbee Accuses Investigators of Shocking Attempt to Manipulate Claims
Nonetheless, the renowned prosecutor first brought the accusations to light on social media last week.
He then displayed a picture of the supposed “investigators,” along with a transcript of an audio recording, between the group and one of the accusers. Buzbee declared, “‘Investigators’ from New York have contacted many of our law firm’s current and former clients.” “These investigators aren’t very smart. What they didn’t anticipate was one of the clients decided to record the conversation.” He continued, “It’s shocking, and illegal. Here is a portion taken directly from the transcript of the contact.”
The recording allegedly shows one of the investigators proposing to the claimants that they could “get paid,” referencing another accuser who accepted $1000 to “get on the right path.” JAY-Z has also filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, alleging that his recent legal motion, claiming he raped a 13-year-old girl with Diddy, is simply an attempt at extortion. This week, Jay-Z’s attorney presented evidence challenging the alleged incident, while the woman involved privately admitted inconsistencies in her account.
