Jeezy is seeking primary custody of his 2-year-old daughter, according to reports.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the “Soul Survivor” rapper is requesting he and Jeannie Mai’s daughter, Monaco, live with him full time.
TMZ reports that the rapper initially agreed to move to the basement- however, he says Jeannie later moved out of their family home, and “took their little girl with her.”
Jeezy previously spoke about about the divorce. “The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart” the Georgia rapper said in a statement. “Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”
He continued, “Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves. During this period, I kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy as we focus on healing.”
In the docs, Jeezy suggests that Monaco would be more “stable” if she lived with him as Jeannie has an “extensive travel schedule”. He also adds that Jeannie has “withheld” his parenting time with their child for nearly 2 months.
Jeannie has yet to respond publicly to Jeezy’s claims.
