Judge Temporarily Grants Mother Of Nipsey Hussle’s Daughter More Visitation Rights

A judge temporarily granted Tanisha Foster more time with the daughter she shared with the late, Nipsey Hussle.

Tanisha was given more visitation rights with Emani Asghedom, 14 until a final decision is made regarding Emani’s custody battle. As of now, Tanisha has permission to pick Emani up from school twice a week. They can spend two hours with each other.

The Jasmine Brand points out that the order forbids both from “making negative comments about the “other, either directly or indirectly, to Emani.” In addition, “Each party must also not permit anyone else to make such remarks in the child’s presence.”

The “Hussle & Motivate” rapper’s family is fighting for custody of Emani. Tanisha feels the family turned on her, while Nipsey’s family thinks she’s an unfit mother with drug and alcohol problems. The family alleges Tanisha got physical with a third party in front of Emani.

When Nipsey was killed in March 2019, his family obtained guardianship of Emani. Tanisha initially agreed due to her financial situation, but in 2022 changed her mind.

Radar Online reports, that her lawyer said, “Tanisha’s motivation for doing so was in recognition of her own financial limitations; her desire to maintain the standard of living and family contact the minor had experienced with the paternal family before her father’s death; and upon the verbal assurances that each of them would act in the best interests of Emani.”

The publication also accused Nip’s family of “breaking their promise to look out for Emani’s best interest when they allegedly used their ‘financial position and influence to disregard their priorities by controlling the desires of Emani and Tanisha by withholding financial assistance and reducing visitation.’”

In Tanisha’s petition, she said, “I have continued to be an active part of Emani’s life. She spends the night with me often, I take her to school, and I continue to do the things a parent would do with their child. I am very unhappy that the guardians will not take my calls. They have blocked me on their cell phones. I have to go through a third party or Emani to communicate with the guardians.” She continued,

“There are no circumstances or events in my life that would disqualify me from regaining my exclusive role as Emani’s parent. There is no longer any need for guardianship. Emani routinely asks me when are she and I going to be able to live together. She longs to be with me as her mother. I am begging the court to terminate the existing guardianship.”

The family believes they should be in control/have custody of Emani’s inheritance. Emani and Nipsey’s son whom he shares with Lauren London, Kross, are the only beneficiaries of Nipsey’s estate. Both children are expected to receive millions.

Eric Holder killed Nipsey and he’s sentenced to 60 years to life.

NIPSEY HUSSLE FOREVER!
