One Man Facing Multiple Attempted Murder Charges, Two Men Facing Weapon Charges In Lil Tjay Shooting

In the latest report involving the Lil Tay shooting, three men are facing charges.

According the the BCPO, Mohamed Konate was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder, three counts of first-degree armed robbery, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. In addition, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree certain persons not to possess a firearm, and fourth-degree aggravated assault. The report says detectives, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the New York City Police Department arrested Mohamed. His extradition to New Jersey is currently pending.

Jeffrey Valdez, and Antoine Boyd were arrested and charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. They’re at the Bergen County Jail. Antoine is a friend of the Bronx rapper, Complex reports.

TMZ reports Mohamed was attempting to commit an armed robbery on Lil Tjay, while Antoine, who is reportedly a friend and Jeffrey was with the rapper.

We reported earlier today (June 22), Lil Tjay had to undergo emergency surgery after getting shot several times. A report says he’s out of surgery, and “appears to be doing better.”

Celebrities spoke out online, French Montana Tweeted, “pray for my lil bro lil Tjay.” Brooklyn rapper, Casanova, wrote a message online from behind bars and said, “praying for you from my jail cell lil bro. You gonna be alright tough times don’t last tough people do. And you a bad mothaf**ka. When you get out, stop by the crib and pick that bullet proof up.”

A fan wrote a message online, praying for Lil Tjay’s full recovery and hopped for a “Many Men” remix when he’s out. Another person said, “Lil Tjay boutta be like 50 cent when he heals up.” Another user predicted a remix and said, “Bro gonna drop the meanest many men remix.”
