Lauren Pisciotta, a former assistant at Ye’s Yeezy brand, has broadened the scope of her lawsuit against the rapper and designer, adding new claims of sexual assault and trafficking to her original filing of harassment and wrongful termination. The amended complaint adds serious weight to a case that had already drawn concern within entertainment and legal circles.
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has yet to respond publicly to these updated accusations. Once at the center of cultural reinvention, his name has more recently become linked to legal turmoil and controversy. These new claims could mark a turning point in how allegations against high-profile figures are addressed—and how quickly they gain traction in the public eye.
According to newly filed court documents obtained by TMZ, Pisciotta details a series of alarming incidents she alleges occurred during her tenure with Ye. She claims that during a business trip to San Francisco, he kissed her without consent and made explicit comments. Later, at a writing session held in his hotel suite, Pisciotta alleges he engaged in sexually inappropriate conduct, including masturbation and unwanted physical advances.
Sex trafficking claim against Ye heightens stakes
In another instance, she accuses Ye of forcing entry into her hotel room and demanding access to her shower before allegedly assaulting her. These allegations, if proven, could have far-reaching implications not only for the artist but also for workplace accountability across the industry. Perhaps the most serious new allegation in the complaint involves an alleged instance of sex trafficking. Pisciotta asserts that Ye “offered her as a sexual gift” to another individual—an exchange she claims was framed as a favor in return for sexual access. This accusation underscores urgent legal and ethical questions around consent, coercion, and celebrity power dynamics.
No criminal charges have been filed at this stage, and none of Pisciotta’s claims have been ruled on in court. Legal experts caution that the burden of proof remains high, and the outcome of any trial will rest on substantiated evidence. Though Ye has not addressed the lawsuit publicly, the allegations arrive as he attempts to relaunch music ventures and expand his fashion output. Industry insiders suggest that the ongoing legal troubles may complicate those efforts, with potential ripple effects on partnerships and public appearances. For now, his team remains silent.
