Excuse me, were you sayin’ something? Uh, uh, you can’t tell me nothin’.

An Instagram story posted by Kanye West on Wednesday afternoon revealed that he received titanium permanent teeth in place of all his real teeth. The entertainer followed up his revelation with an Instagram story featuring the classic James Bond film villain, Jaws, played by Richard Kiel.

Daily Mail reports that the new permanents were designed by Ye-himself and were more expensive than diamonds. Fitted by Beverly Hills dental technicians Dr Thomas Connelly and Naoki Hayashi, the exclusive would also reveal that the permanents and surgical procedure cost the billionaire mogul $850,000.

“Ye was a pleasure to work with every step of the process,” Dr. Connelly told Daily Mail. “His vision for designing unique art transcends the dental progression. The marriage of his Vision with dental science has created a new look that is epic!”

[UPDATE]: Contrary to original news reports, Kanye West did not replace his teeth with titanium teeth. Here’s what really happened.

He still has his teeth. He bought titanium grills for $850,000 inspired by a James Bond villain. Dentist Thomas Connelly confirmed with Complex that he designed Ye’s new grill, the cost, but his teeth are still in his mouth.

“He did not have his teeth removed,” Connelly, told Complex.  “He still has a full dentition. Healthy and happy.”

Kanye West had to have reconstructive surgery on his face and jaw following a near-fatal car accident in 2002. Throughout his career, the 46-year-old father of four has discussed his accident often in his music. For example, his debut hit, “Through The Wire,” was a song about his recovery process.

“Through The Wire” appeared on Kanye West’s multi-platinum-selling debut album, The College Dropout (2004), which also featured smash hits “All Falls Down,” “The New Workout Plan,” and “Slow Jamz.” He would become an icon with game-changing albums such as Graduation (2007), 808s and Heartbreaks (2008), and My Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010).

In music, Ye has fans patiently waiting for his upcoming joint album with Ty Dolla $ign, titled Vultures. He previewed the album at the end of last year with a star-studded rave in Miami, Florida that included guests Lil Durk, Kodak Black, Freddie Gibbs, and his daughter North West, who will be making her recording debut. Dates for the album’s releases have come and gone as it is plagued with sample clearance issues.

Kanye West’s spontaneity acts are well-known and recorded with Hot 97. During a random call to the station in 2018, he told Ebro he loved him. Relive the moment below.
