In July 2019, Kawhi Leonard signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, and there were many reports circulating that both Leonard and his uncle were asking for outrageous requests as such a private jet and a new house.

Since then, the NBA is reportedly set to launch an investigation into the signing due to a lawsuit that accuses the Clippers and Jerry West is being sued for some violations. John Wilkes, the man who filed the lawsuit, claims that he helped the Clippers sign Leonard.

According to the lawsuit, Wilkes also claims that West has promised to pay him $2.5 million, which he never received.  Jerry West has allegedly denied having any involvement in the deal with Wilkes.

If the NBA finds out that any rules were broken or violated during the signing of Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers can rack up a large number of fines.

We will keep you posted on this matter.
