Keke Palmer had the time of her life during Usher’s residency in Las Vegas. Her boyfriend, however, Darius Jackson, was not too pleased with her outfit choice.
After tons of videos of Keke and Usher went viral online, Darius took to Twitter to criticize her outfit. In a since deleted tweet, Jackson says, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”
Jackson received a lot of backlash following his tweet, which sparked another response from him. “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” Jackson wrote in a follow-up tweet. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
Keke Palmer took to Instagram to share a few more pictures from the concert and of the outfit in question- seemingly unbothered by the criticism. “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late! I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some a*s in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself??”
No direct response from Jackson nor Palmer as of yet- however, the two did unfollow each other.
