Kevin Durant Reveals How He Became Drake’s A&R On ‘For All The Dogs’

Kevin Durant‘s skills don’t stop at the basketball court, apparently he has quite the ear for music. So much so, that Drake brought him on as an A&R for his eighth album, For All The Dogs. Recenlty, the NBA legend opened up about why he chose to get involved with the project.

While attending a media day session ahead of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend (which takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana, this year), Durant noted that the pair are pretty close. He said not only do the two speak often, but he also lends advice to the Canadian rap star. It’s clear that because Durant is such a close confidant of Drake’s, it makes sense why he would grace him with the title of A&R.

“Whenever Drake just wants to talk about life I’m there for him and he just gave me that title,” Durant told the reporters.
