Kid Cudi teams up with Adam Sandler in the long-awaited Happy Gilmore sequel. According to reports, Cudi will be cast in the film, but the specifics of his character remain a mystery for now. Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald will reprise their iconic roles as Virginia Venit and Shooter McGavin. Most recently, Cudi appeared alongside Josh Hartnet in M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler revealed that Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny will have cameo roles in the upcoming sequel, along with several professional golfers. Kyle Newacheck directs, while Sandler and Tim Herlihy collaborate on the script. They produce alongside Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds, with Dennis Dugan returning as executive producer, joined by Judit Maull, Kevin Grady, David Bausch, and Barry Bernardi.
