Kodak Black has been transferred to a high-security federal prison in Illinois.

According to his lawyer, the transfer comes one month after the rapper filed a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Prisons stating that he was being abused and tortured. Black was moved from the USP Big Sandy in Kentucky, to a facility in Oklahoma City to where he is currently, USP Thomson.

His team shared the news on his Instagram page.

According to Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, Black is “grateful to have been moved to the Illinois facility.” Cohen is currently working on getting Black’s commissary and visitation privileges reinstated.
