Kodak Black’s ex-girlfriend Maranda Johnson is seeking an increase in child support, filing new legal documents in Broward County, Florida. The move comes shortly after a public clash between Kodak’s exes at his daughter’s birthday party, an incident his team believes is no coincidence.
The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ Hip Hop that Kodak already provides financial support for all his children and maintains regular visitation. He suggests that tensions among the mothers of Kodak’s children may have fueled Johnson’s latest legal action. Last year, Kodak made headlines when he gifted lavish jewelry to the son he shares with Johnson immediately after his birth. Now, Cohen says Johnson is pushing for more financial support, arguing that having two of Kodak’s children entitles her to additional payments.
