Lamar Odom, the former NBA star and ex-husband of Khloé Kardashian, has been evicted from a luxury mansion in Studio City, Los Angeles, after failing to pay $45,000 in rent over three months.
According to court documents, Odom entered into an oral month-to-month rental agreement with Executive Recovery Group, Inc. in December 2024, agreeing to pay $15,000 per month. However, he reportedly missed payments for January through March 2025.
After receiving a three-day notice and multiple notifications, Odom did not respond to the lawsuit, leading to a court ruling on April 28, 2025, granting possession of the property to Executive Recovery Group and ordering Odom to vacate the premises.
Odom has faced financial difficulties post-retirement. In 2015, he suffered a near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel, resulting in multiple strokes and organ failure. Since then, he has made public efforts to rebuild his life, including launching the Odom Wellness Treatment Centers to support others facing addiction.
